Whats your best smiting weapon(s)? - Guild Wars Forums

Well im using a smiting monk right now, i just wanted some opinion and insight on which weapon i should buy for him. So, like stats on the staff/wand/off-hand would work best for a smiting monk and why would be appreciated thnks

The collector smiting staff is pretty nice. You get the 20% chance for faster cast speed and faster skill recharge.

thnks, i was thinking that too and u can also add a pre/suffix, any other ones?

Best Smiting Staff possibilities:

Energy +10
11-21 damage
Smiting Skill Recharge 20%
Smiting Skill Up Cast Speed 20%

and the upgrades:

Smiting Skill +1 20% (I use this one)
Health +30

and

Health +30
Energy +5

So I think you can have like a +60 health 20/20 staff, or a +15 energy 20/20/20 staff, or a +15 energy +30 health 20/20 staff...great stuff.

ahh i was thinking exactly that =] so i have:
insightful smiting staff of fortitude
energy+10
11-21 holy dmg(req 9 smiting)
Smiting Skill Recharge 20%
Smiting Skill Up Cast Speed 20%
health+16
energy+4
health+28

is that pretty good?
